Panda TUFF challenge

While the current pandemic has hindered our ability to race bikes and participate in group rides, we want to encourage you to explore your backyard and adventure! Amanda "Panda" Nauman is bringing you a fun opportunity to challenge yourself for the month of May during this questionable time period while we continue to prepare for the Mammoth Tuff. The Grava de Mayo is a #PandaTuff challenge with a segment specific to Orange County and the opportunity for anyone to create their own similar route. All the information and details are below. 

What is the Challenge?

Explore your local area. Create a new route. Find new roads you've never explored.

Where?

There's an Orange County, California route as well as guidelines below to create your own route wherever you live.

Who Can Participate?

Anyone! 

When?

May 8th to May 31st, 2020

What do I get?

Participation gets you a pair of the latest and greatest #PandaTuff Sockguy socks. Design TBA.

Why?

Because we want to show you that there's hidden inspiration in our own backyards and it's an extra excuse to continue your Mammoth Tuff training.

The orange county route

Create a SoCal route that includes the Panda Tuff segment*

*This is a nonstop segment with no traffic lights to hinder the effort. You can even start at Salt Creek Beach if you want to go from ocean to O'Neill!

The alternative route (local to you)

Create a mixed surface segment with at least 1800 ft of climbing in no less than 18 miles. 
Be creative!
For those in urban areas we challenge you to create a nonstop segment with no traffic lights and no cars to hinder the adventure.
